We’re seeking an enthusiastic Finance
Assistant to join a well-established organisation based in Leeds City Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid finance experience who is looking to progress and take on new responsibilities.

As a Finance Assistant, you’ll be an integral part of the finance team, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day financial processes. Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing purchase and sales ledger invoices
• Preparing and reconciling bank transactions
• Assisting with weekly and monthly payment runs
• Handling supplier queries and reconciling statements
• Supporting month-end processes, including accruals and prepayments
• Maintaining petty cash and credit card records
• Assisting with management accounts and reporting as required
• General finance administration and ad hoc tasks

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a finance or accounts role (minimum 2 years)
• AAT qualification (Level 2 or above) or equivalent experience
• Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
• Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• A proactive approach and a willingness to learn
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

This is a fully office based role, with opportunity to progress within a fast paced finance team based in Leeds City Centre (2 min walk from Leeds train station).
