Role
 
As a Field Service Engineer, you'll provide professional, efficient support across a range of MFDs and photocopiers. You'll be responsible for diagnosing faults, carrying out routine maintenance, and ensuring equipment is performing at its best.
Working both independently and as part of a collaborative engineering team, you'll contribute to a strong service culture built on reliability, communication, and technical excellence.
 
Responsibilities
 
Deliver on-site technical support within agreed SLA time frames
Diagnose and resolve faults quickly and accurately
Carry out routine maintenance, updates, and modifications
Support equipment installations and configuration
Understand and adhere to SLAs for assigned accounts
Perform basic fault finding across managed print solutions
Provide cover for colleagues during absence or peak periods
Log service calls accurately and promptly
Report recurring issues to support proactive resolution
Share technical knowledge with colleagues to support continuous improvement
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer accounts
Manage boot stock and site stock levels effectively
Attend manufacturer training to maintain and develop technical skills   
 
Candidate
 
Proven experience in field‑based technical support within the MFD/photocopier/print sector
Strong logical fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
Excellent communication and customer‑facing ability
Confident working independently while contributing to a high‑performing team
A proactive, organised approach with a commitment to delivering outstanding service
