Position: MEP Revit / CAD Technician

Overview

17 is pleased to be working with an innovative consultancy and heat network operator specialising in sustainable building services design and decarbonisation solutions.

We are seeking an experienced MEP Revit / CAD Technician to join a dynamic and forward-thinking team. This role offers the chance to contribute to meaningful projects including building services, decarbonisation, retrofit, and district heat networks, while supporting the growth of the business in a pragmatic and impactful way.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead MEP Revit / CAD efforts on projects across building services, decarbonisation, and heat networks.
  • Deliver accurate, coordinated, and client-ready outputs within agreed deadlines.
  • Develop and maintain AutoCAD blocks and Revit families libraries.
  • Produce fully coordinated mechanical and electrical service models compliant with BIM standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with design engineers and project teams.
  • Promote an inclusive and positive working culture aligned with company values.
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar MEP Revit/CAD role.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks is essential.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality outputs on time.
  • Strong communication skills and experience working within teams.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as BSRIA BG6 and ISO 19650.
  • Understanding of construction sector processes and procedures.
  • Experience with document control or knowledge of automation, coding, or AI integration is a plus but not essential.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
