We are recruiting for a Data Engineer to join our IT team. Reporting into the Head of Customer Data Operations, this role will lead all customer data activities from requirements gathering through to delivery.

Lead and manage all engineering activities across internal and external teams, ensuring high productivity and quality of execution.

Strong expertise across cloud data products and services, including object storage, ETL tooling, distributed processing frameworks, infrastructure-as-code, and cloud data warehousing.

Prioritise and manage engineering activities and personnel to deliver against a defined roadmap, ensuring alignment with strategic goals as defined by the Head of Customer Data Operations.

Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, methodology, and data governance.

Understand, define, and standardise the approach, activities, and artefacts required to deliver engineering initiatives, ensuring all outputs are robust, reliable, and repeatable.

• At least 5 years’ experience in data engineering or a related field
• At least 3 years’ experience managing resources via a systems integrator or third-party delivery model
• Experience working across multiple teams with competing priorities

Not essential to be successful in the role, but you may also have:

• A degree in a technology-related discipline
