Are you an experienced Project Engineering specialist ready to step into a complex and growing fast paced environment? Are you able to take the lead as project manager / project engineer driving capital engineering projects & improvements, typically up to a value of £50k-£2M, and supporting central teams with larger projects. This is an exciting opportunity at our Stourton Dairy in Leeds, Arla's second-largest and most complex dairy site in the UK, producing over 700 million litres of tasty and nutritious products each year.

• The Engineering Project Specialist is responsible for structured delivery of capital projects, therefore experience of mechanical, electrical and automated systems is vital.
• Working with wider site and external teams to provide and deliver solutions that meet the expectations of stakeholders and defined project scopes.
• Support to the engineering team on complex issues and trouble shooting.
• Chair Capex meetings with structured communication and stakeholder engagement/management, utilising Arla project management process and procedures.
• Manage the annual Capex cycle and present proposals to stakeholders. Develop 1 page justifications for site strategic investment plan.
• Adherence to Arla Foods technical specifications (automation, electrical, mechanical, safety, hygienic design, operability, maintainability).

• Strong experience and understanding of mechanical, electrical and automated manufacturing systems with broad knowledge with Lean principles and SAP/OEE
• Preferably will hold an Engineering Degree or equivalent along with Prince 2, APM, Agile project management or similar certification
• Demonstrated performance dealing with and working with commercial processes, sourcing, tender, negotiations. Desirable - experience +5yrs asset management. Managing maintenance and improvement of manufacturing equipment or utility.
