I am recruiting for a Civil Engineer to join a growing multidisciplinary consultancy in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer to work across a diverse portfolio of civil engineering projects while developing their technical skills and progressing within a supportive team.

As a Civil Engineer, you will contribute to the design and delivery of civil and infrastructure projects across sectors including highways, drainage, commercial, residential, industrial, petrochemical, food and energy. You will prepare technical drawings, calculations and design specifications while working closely with colleagues to produce coordinated, high quality engineering solutions.

Working within a collaborative environment, you will help maintain high technical standards, support project delivery and develop strong relationships across design teams. You will also take responsibility for planning your workload, assisting colleagues during busy periods and contributing to efficient project resourcing.

Key Responsibilities

Undertake civil engineering design in accordance with industry standards and regulations.

Produce and check drawings, calculations and specifications.

Support multidisciplinary coordination and contribute to integrated design solutions.

Assist with highways, drainage and general infrastructure designs across multiple sectors.

Help prioritise project delivery and manage workload effectively.

Contribute to a positive team environment and maintain strong working relationships.

About You

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with ideally 1 to 3 years experience.

Interest or experience in highways design is preferred.

Working towards Chartered status.

Capable user of AutoCAD, with some experience in Civil 3D and Info Drainage.

Strong communication skills and knowledge of relevant codes and regulations.

Proactive, motivated and an enthusiastic team player.

Full UK driving licence.
