We are working with a well-established structural engineering consultancy in Leeds that is looking to hire a Graduate Structural Engineer to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate (or someone with up to 1–2 years’ experience) to gain hands-on design experience on a wide range of building projects while working closely with experienced engineers and receiving structured support toward Chartership.

The Role

As a Graduate Structural Engineer, you will be involved in:

Structural design and analysis using steel, concrete, timber, and masonry

Producing calculations and assisting with technical reports

Supporting senior engineers on residential and commercial projects

Preparing drawings and coordinating with CAD/Revit technicians

Attending site visits and design meetings as your experience develops

Requirements

BEng or MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering

A genuine interest in building structures

Strong academic background and good technical understanding

Familiarity with structural design software (e.g. Tedds, Tekla, ETABS, Robot – training provided where needed)

Good communication skills and a proactive attitude

Eligibility to work in the UK
