Sales Engineer

Our client is a leading manufacturer of engineering adhesives, supplying high-quality industrial adhesives to customers worldwide, assisting customers with their specific bonding and sealing requirements.

As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for visiting customers across the North UK to recommend and introduce adhesives into their production lines, providing technical training to distributors, and supporting with complaint investigation and troubleshooting.

• Visit customers across the North UK to recommend and introduce adhesives into their production lines.
• Provide technical training to distributors.
• Support with complaint investigation and troubleshooting.
• Support with manning exhibitions when required.
• Track sales leads, samples, and projects, and ensure regular feedback from customers/distributors.
• Keep the company CRM database updated with visit reports, projects, opportunities, etc.
• Negotiate and provide pricing and quotations for customers.
• Liaise with customer services and credit control to help service accounts.
• Maintain and develop relationships with integrators who manufacture equipment (e.g., dispensers, UV lamps, surface preparation equipment) as well as with distributors.

• Sales experience with either a manufacturer or distributor.
• Driving license.
• Live in the North (between Chester/York).
