Quality Engineer

LOCATION - Leeds

TERM - Permanent

SALARY - £40,000-£50,000

• Degree / HNC / HND / NVQ qualified in Engineering or be QBE
• 2 years or more experience in a similar Quality Technician or Quality Engineer position ideally with transferable skills and knowledge
• Previous experience working in a similar electronics components engineering manufacturing environment (other backgrounds may also be considered)
• Ideally experienced in carrying out internal audits
• Excellent knowledge of ISO
  9001 – any other ISO experience would be desirable
• Able to work well individually as well as within a team
• Have excellent communication skills

• Working with the group Quality Manager
• Supporting all aspects of Quality – using methods such as 8D, 5 Why's, Root Cause Analysis etc.
• Always looking to improve company processes and procedures
• Be involved in internal audits and leading this programme
• Understanding customer feedback
• Training other staff members with regards to processes and procedures
• Producing product reports as required
