Technical Sales Engineer – Osprey Engineering Solutions

We’re looking for a motivated, technically strong Technical Sales Engineer with proven experience in hydraulics, fluid power, and hose systems
. This hands‑on, customer‑facing role offers a clear pathway into Technical Sales Management and is based in North UK with regional travel required. Salary: DOE.

• Support regional sales activity and help drive revenue growth.
• Provide expert technical support across hydraulic systems, including industrial, chemical, and food‑grade hoses.
• Assist with quotations, proposals, customer meetings, and product demos.
• Identify new business opportunities and support customer development.
• Work closely with sales leadership and regional teams to improve technical capability and sales confidence.
• Travel across North UK supporting sites, customers, and events.

• Strong background in hydraulics / fluid power.
• 5+ years in a technical role (sales, service, engineering, or support).
• Ceetop 1 (or equivalent) preferred.
• Solid hose knowledge (industrial / chemical / food‑grade ideal).
• Confident communicator and problem solver.
• Self‑motivated, organised, and commercially aware.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ambition to progress into a Technical Sales Manager role.
