Our client is a successful, family‑run food and drinks manufacturer with a strong reputation for quality and a supportive working environment. As they continue to grow, we’re looking for a skilled and hands‑on Mechanical Engineer to join their team and help keep the production running smoothly.

This role is a key part of the engineering team, responsible for keeping the equipment running efficiently and reliably. You’ll be involved in a mix of planned maintenance, reactive repairs, and improvement projects across the production lines.

• Carry out routine maintenance and mechanical repairs
• Respond quickly to breakdowns, working to minimise downtime
• Support continuous improvement projects and equipment upgrades
• Assist with installations and commissioning of new machinery
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures
• Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations

• Previous experience in a Mechanical Engineering role within manufacturing
• Strong fault‑finding skills and hands‑on mechanical knowledge
• Familiarity with health & safety standards and safe working practices
• A team player with a can‑do attitude and good communication skills
