About the Role

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in delivering diverse and challenging projects, from small‑scale developments to large, multi‑building schemes. Your expertise will shape the infrastructure of the future while collaborating with talented professionals in a supportive and forward‑thinking team.

Your

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Civils Team on projects of varying scales.
  • Design infrastructure solutions, including underground drainage systems and roads to adapt to standards.
  • Liaise with statutory bodies like water companies, the Environment Agency, and local road departments.
  • Utilise technical design tools such as AutoCAD, Civils 3D, and other relevant software.
  • Maintain quality and consistency in technical outputs, including drawings and reports.
  • Mentor junior team members, fostering growth and excellence.
  • Attend design and site meetings and conduct site inspections.
  • Provide expert advice to clients, contractors, and colleagues, ensuring professional communication.
  • Manage projects within agreed budgets and timelines.
You will have:
  • A degree in Civil & Structural Engineering (chartership is an advantage).
  • Strong technical design skills and proficiency in relevant software.
  • A proactive approach to managing teams and delivering high‑quality results.
