The OpportunityWe’re looking for talented Electrical Engineers with experience in Instrumentation and Controls to join our growing team. Whether you’re an experienced leader ready to take on strategic responsibilities or a mid-level professional eager to learn, we have opportunities for you.
What You’ll Do- Contribute to winning and delivering projects across the UK.
- Collaborate with clients and partners to develop innovative solutions.
- Work on project delivery, ensuring quality, timelines, and budgets are met.
- Apply and grow your knowledge of Electrical and Control Systems design, CDM regulations, and relevant design tools.
- Support our mission to create a low‑carbon, equitable future aligned with Arup values and UN Sustainable Development Goals.
- Work on a wide range of projects delivering sustainable designs in energy, water treatment and distribution, waste water, and industrial systems.
- Ability to interpret and produce detailed design documentation.
- Familiarity with design software and tools (e.g., Trimble).
- For senior roles: manage multidisciplinary projects across energy, water, and resources sectors with detailed knowledge of CDM regulations.
- For mid‑level engineers: enthusiasm to learn and develop technical and leadership skills.
- Specialist knowledge in at least one area of Electrical and/or Control Systems engineering.
- Proficiency in specifying development work and interpreting results.
- Ideal: IEng or CEng registration through IET, CIBSE, or other relevant body; degree‑qualified, likely a Masters Engineering Degree or equivalent.
Successful candidates will need an eligible UK driving licence and, preferably, security clearance or be eligible to obtain one.
