Electrical Engineer / Field Service Engineer (UPS / Industrial Systems)

Field based around Leeds and A1M Corridor: ideally based around Leeds, Darlington, Bradford, York, Wakefield, Wetherby, Huddersfield, Harrogate, Ripon, Thirsk or surrounding areas.

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + 7.5% bonus + £7,000 car allowance / company vehicle + door‑to‑door service + full training including at international manufacturing site + progression + overtime + great benefits.

This company is a manufacturer of specialist electrical products used by large data centres and organisations in the industrial and commercial sectors, such as UPS systems and switchgears. Due to continued success as a market‑leading organisation, they are looking to strengthen their established team with highly motivated engineers.

On offer is a role with specialist training, where you will be field based covering Leeds and the wider A1(M) corridor. You will be tasked with carrying out service, maintenance and commissioning of electrical equipment, giving training to customers and becoming a technical expert in their line of products.

The role is suitable for someone with a degree in Electrical Engineering or commensurate experience in industrial engineering, UPS systems, switchgears or similar.

• Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week
• Door‑to‑door travel across Leeds and A1(M) corridor
• Service, maintenance and commissioning of electrical equipment
• Overtime available

• Electrical background (degree or equivalent)
• Commercial/industrial/UPS experience or relevant background
• UK driver’s licence
