We’re looking for a Senior Temporary Works Advisor to join our Design team based in Leeds, Liverpool, Speke and Salford. Our 100‑strong Construction Engineering capability brings together civil, structural and geotechnical engineers from a range of backgrounds to deliver buildable solutions on site.

What will you be responsible for?As a Senior Temporary Works Advisor you’ll support Kier in delivering complex construction engineering services, leading some services and providing safe, buildable solutions.
Your Day To Day Will Include- Advising TWCs, Business Unit DIs and business stream DIs on the implementation of the group Temporary Works standard and guidance.
- Providing technical and practical advice on temporary works design and implementation.
- Undertaking formal and informal temporary works compliance audits of projects and frameworks.
- Tender and bid winning support, including outline design schemes, feasibility studies and cost estimates.
- Delivering alternative solutions and value engineering to enhance Kier’s competitive position.
- Design management advice and coordination to support bid winning and project delivery, acting as lead designer where required.
- Incorporated member of a relevant professional institution (e.g. IEng MICE).
- Significant practical, industry‑relevant experience.
