A Career Built on Impact, Not Just Supervision

The early years of education are the most critical for children with Additional Needs (SEND). We are seeking dedicated 1:1 Support Assistants to work within EYFS, KS1, and KS2 settings. This role is perfect for those passionate about Autism (ASD), Speech and Language delays, and Global Developmental Delay (GDD).

  • Specialised Clinical

    Experience:

Invaluable for those aspiring to careers in Educational Psychology, Speech & Language Therapy, or Paediatric Nursing.
  • Work-Life Balance:
Enjoy standard primary school hours (approx. 8:30 am - 3:30 pm) with no evening or weekend commitments.
  • Specialist Training:
Gain hands-on experience with EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) implementation, PECS, and sensory regulation.
  • Reliable Weekly Pay:
Competitive daily rates of £88.92 - £100, paid every Friday via Randstad.
Your Role as a 1:1 Advocate

As a Primary SEN TA, you are the vital link between a child's unique needs and their academic success.

  • Tailored 1:1 Support:
Implement personalised learning journeys using "Now & Next" boards and sensory breaks to keep children regulated and engaged.
  • Developmental

    Coaching:

Facilitate social interaction and communication skills during play-based activities and phonics sessions.
  • Collaborative Reporting:
Work closely with the SENCO, class teachers, and external therapists to track milestones and adjust support strategies.
  • Holistic Wellbeing:
Provide a safe, dignified environment for children, assisting with personal care or mobility needs where required (training provided).
What We Are Looking For

We value emotional intelligence and resilience above all else. You are an ideal fit if you:

  • Are Naturally Patient:
You understand that "progress" in the early years is measured in small, beautiful milestones.
  • Have a "Person-First" Approach:
You look past the diagnosis to see the child's potential and creativity.
  • Have Relevant

    Experience:

Whether from a nursery, healthcare setting, or personal lived experience with SEND.
  • Are Committed:
You hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or are willing to apply) and are 100% dedicated to Safeguarding.
