Randstad Education is seeking empathetic, resilient, and dedicated Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) for supply opportunities throughout Leeds. We work with mainstream schools and specialist provisions that need your help to ensure every student has an equal chance to succeed.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you aren’t just an extra pair of hands; you are a mentor and a guide. You will work 1:1 or with small groups of students who may have SEN (Special Educational Needs), SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) challenges, or English as an Additional Language (EAL).

• Provide targeted support to students in 1:1 or small-group settings.
• Support learners with SEN, SEMH, or EAL to access the UK curriculum.
• Collaborate with teachers to implement effective strategies and monitor progress.

  Experience:
  
  You must have previous experience working within a UK educational setting and a solid grasp of how to support the UK curriculum.
• Adaptability:
  The ability to walk into a new classroom and quickly identify how to best assist the teacher and the students.
• Resilience: A calm, patient approach when dealing with challenging behaviour or complex learning hurdles.
