Art Teacher – Outstanding Secondary School, Leeds | Immediate Start

An Outstanding secondary school in Leeds is looking to appoint a committed Art Teacher to join their creative department immediately. This role will run until the end of term, with a strong possibility of being extended through to the end of the academic year.

You'll be teaching Art across KS3 and KS4, with only a small number of GCSE exam groups on your timetable. The school is looking for someone who can bring fresh ideas, energy, and strong subject knowledge to help engage students and maintain the high standards the department is known for.

• Teaching Art to KS3 and KS4 classes
• Delivering engaging, practical lessons with a focus on creativity and skill development
• Supporting a small number of exam classes with coursework and preparation
• Working collaboratively with a welcoming and experienced Art department
• Creating a positive, inspiring classroom environment

• Rated Outstanding by Ofsted
• Excellent behaviour and a strong culture of safeguarding and support
• Well‑equipped Art facilities and a dynamic team of specialists
• Supportive leadership that values its staff and prides itself on professional development

• A passionate and reliable Art specialist
• Someone confident teaching across KS3 and KS4
• A teacher with strong classroom management and a creative approach
• QTS preferred, but the school will consider strong instructors or ECTs
