Aspire People Make a Real Difference in Leeds Secondary Schools Aspire People are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated English Learning Mentor to support students in a thriving secondary school in Leeds. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate, aspiring teacher, or experienced mentor who is committed to raising attainment and building student confidence in English.

The Role As an English Learning Mentor, you will:
Deliver targeted English intervention sessions (1:1 and small group) Support Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students with reading, writing, and exam preparation Work closely with the English department to raise achievement Build positive relationships with students who require additional support Monitor and track student progress

The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold a degree in English or a related subject (preferred) Have experience working with secondary-aged students Be confident supporting GCSE English Language and Literature Demonstrate patience, resilience, and strong communication skills Be passionate about education and student development
