About the Role
Are you a Humanities specialist looking to move away from the traditional classroom and into high-impact, 1:1 intervention?
Integra Education is delivering a bespoke EOTAS (Education Other Than At School) package in Leeds. We are seeking a qualified Humanities teacher to provide personalised, in-person academic support for a student who requires an alternative to a mainstream school environment. This role is ideal for an educator who excels at building rapport and re-engaging learners through creative and bespoke sessions.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, in-person Humanities sessions tailored to the student’s specific interests and learning needs.
Act as both a mentor and educator to help rebuild academic confidence and critical thinking skills.
Work autonomously to design a curriculum that makes complex global and historical concepts accessible.
Collaborate with the agency and parents to create a holistic support system and report on progress.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Strong subject knowledge across Humanities (KS3/KS4).
Proven experience teaching or tutoring within a UK school setting.
An adaptable, patient, and student-centred approach.
An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or a willingness to obtain one).
