Job Description
Are you passionate about shaping professional practice and building capability across a large and dynamic university community? Leeds Beckett University is seeking a Training and Development Officer to lead the design and delivery of high-quality learning that underpins our regulatory, quality assurance and student lifecycle activity. This is a chance to make a real institutional impact at a time of digital and organisational change.
In this role you will provide professional expertise across the Registry and Academic Quality Enhancement Directorate, designing workshops, digital learning and blended interventions that meet identified development needs. You will work collaboratively with RAQE managers, academic schools and professional services to create learning solutions that support consistent practice, strengthen digital capability and enable colleagues to work confidently within regulatory and operational frameworks.
You will enjoy genuine autonomy to apply professional judgement, shape development programmes and innovate in response to emerging priorities including new digital systems such as timetabling, student records and curriculum management. Your work will be informed by data, evaluation frameworks and engagement with external sector networks, ensuring your practice remains fresh, evidence informed and impactful. This is an ideal opportunity for someone seeking to grow their influence, strengthen institutional practice and support meaningful continuous improvement.
If you are ready to lead, to innovate and to help colleagues across the University develop the confidence and capability they need to succeed, we would be pleased to hear from you. Please complete our online application, or contact our HR Recruitment Team if you require an alternative format.
