Dedicated Primary 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant Role

Are you a nurturing and patient individual driven by a passion to support children with diverse learning needs? Randstad Education is seeking a Full-Time, Term-Time Only Primary Teaching Assistant to provide crucial 1:1 Special Educational Needs (SEN) support in schools across Crawley.

This highly rewarding role focuses on helping individual pupils overcome academic, social, and emotional barriers
. You will be essential in supporting children who present with various additional needs, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, Speech and Language Difficulties, and Behavioural Challenges
. You will collaborate closely with class teachers and SENCOs to implement tailored strategies and track student progress.

• Experience working with children (education or care setting).
• A calm, empathetic, and patient approach to challenging situations.
• Confidence in supporting pupils with SEN or behavioural needs
  .
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Essential Requirements: GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C/4 or above) and eligibility to work in the UK. (Relevant SEN experience is highly desirable.)
