Prospero Teaching are recruiting an SEN Year 7 Class Teacher to join a specialist SEN school in Leatherhead, Surrey.
Role Overview- Position: SEN Year 7 Class Teacher
- Class Size:
Maximum of 8 students - Support:
One HLTA and one Teaching Assistant in class - Student Needs:
Autism (ASD), mixed abilities - School Type:
Mixed secondary SEND school - Start Date:
ASAP - Contract:
Temporary to permanent (no fixed end date) - Working Hours:
- Monday-Thursday: 8:15am-4:45pm
- Friday: 8:15am-4:00pm
- Daily Rate: GBP
176 - GBP
240.19 (dependent on teaching scale) - Location:
Leatherhead, Surrey - Parking:
On-site parking available
- Experience teaching in an SEN school or a similar setting
- Ability to deliver a range of subjects to Year 7 pupils with autism
- QTS preferred, however applicants with a Level 5 teaching qualification will be considered
- Applicants without QTS or a Level 5 qualification will not be successful
- Strong behaviour management skills (note: behaviour is generally well managed within the school)
- Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
- Right to work in the UK
- Two professional references required
