SEN Teaching Assistant – Leeds

Full-Time Support Role

Are you a resilient and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity? We’re working with friendly primary schools across Leeds who are seeking experienced SEN TAs to support pupils with additional needs and challenging behaviour.

This is a fantastic role for someone with hands‑on SEN experience who is confident managing behaviour and providing tailored support in the classroom.

• Monday–Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

• Temporary role with potential for ongoing placements

• Provide 1:1 and group support to pupils with SEN

• Implement strategies to manage challenging behaviour positively

• Assist pupils in accessing the curriculum and completing tasks

• Work closely with the class teacher to adapt lessons as required

• Promote inclusion, independence, and engagement in classroom activities

• Maintain clear communication with teachers, parents, and other professionals

• Proven experience supporting children with SEN

• Experience managing challenging behaviour in a classroom setting

• Resilient, patient, and adaptable approach

• Ability to work under the guidance of the teacher

• Good numeracy and literacy skills

• Reliable, punctual, and proactive
