Are you a resilient and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity? We’re working with a friendly primary school near Headingley who are seeking an experienced SEN TA to support a Year 3 class with pupils who may present challenging behaviour and additional needs
.

This is a fantastic role for someone with hands‑on SEN experience who is confident managing behaviour and providing tailored support in the classroom.

• Monday–Friday,8:30am – 3:30pm.

• Proven experience supporting children with SEN

• Experience managing challenging behaviour in a classroom setting

• Resilient, patient, and adaptable approach

• Ability to work under the guidance of the teacher

• Good numeracy and literacy skills

• Reliable, punctual, and proactive

• Provide 1:1 and group support to Year 3 pupils with SEN

• Implement strategies to manage challenging behaviour positively

• Assist pupils in accessing the curriculum and completing tasks

• Work closely with the class teacher to adapt lessons as required

• Promote inclusion, independence, and engagement in classroom activities

• Maintain clear communication with teachers, parents, and other professionals
