We’re dedicated to recruiting the best driving instructors. If you have the potential for excellence and are based in Leeds or the surrounding areas, we can provide you with training and no upfront fees.

Your full driving instructor course lasts between 3 to 18 months, tailored to your learning pace and personal commitments. It combines theory‑based learning, one‑to‑one theory training, and on‑road practical sessions to fully equip you for the job.

• You must be over 22 years old.
• Live in Leeds or surrounding areas.
• Have held a full driving licence for at least 3.5 years and have not been disqualified.
• Commit to at least five hours a week dedicated to instructor training.
• Be able to read a number plate from 27.5 m.
• Have an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check (cost £8.22).
• Have patience and understanding, as learners progress at different speeds.
• Possess excellent communication skills.
• If you hold points, be aware that the Driving Standards Agency may reject your application if you have more than three points.

You do need a car to practice driving in during the training.
