The Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 where applicable). Roles are available on a flexible supply basis or as longer-term placements, depending on your preference. This opportunity is ideal for teachers seeking the flexibility of supply work or the stability of a long-term role

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes engagement and progress
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND and EAL pupils
  • Maintain effective classroom and behaviour management
  • Assess, monitor and record pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Work collaboratively with department colleagues and wider school staff
  • Follow all safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure pupil safety and wellbeing
What We're Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification

    Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
  • Experience teaching Maths at secondary level
  • Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
  • A flexible, reliable and positive approach to teaching
