SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Leeds
Pay: £90 – £105 per day
Contract: Full-Time | Short-Term / Long-Term / Temp-to-Perm

We are seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils in specialist SEN schools across Leeds
, working with children and young people with PMLD, SEMH, autism
, and challenging behaviour.

This role is ideal for individuals with a strong SEN background who are confident delivering personal care and supporting emotional and behavioural needs.

• Provide tailored support to pupils with complex and profound needs
• Deliver personal care and assist with mobility
• Support pupils presenting SEMH and challenging behaviour
• Use positive behaviour and de‑escalation strategies
• Build consistent routines and safe learning environments

• ✅ SEN / care / residential experience
• ✅ Comfortable with personal care and physical support
• ✅
  Team Teach training preferred
• ✅ Calm, proactive, and compassionate
• ✅ DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
