Early Years Teaching Assistant

£95-105 per day | Immediate Start

• Supporting teachers with children who have a variety of needs, tailoring learning to suit them
• Working within a team and helping build a comfortable environment for all children and staff, supporting challenging behaviour and SEN requirements
• Following care plans, EHCPs, pupil passports and other relevant documents where necessary
• Using a holistic approach within a multi‑disciplinary team of specialists
• Carrying out individual interventions to aid children's learning, as well as other duties to assist teachers

• Experience of working with children who have complex needs
• A willingness to ‘jump in’ and help where necessary
• Being a positive role model and influence
• The ability to support challenging behaviour, encourage independence and be patient and willing to build long lasting relationships with pupils
• Good awareness of safeguarding procedures
