The 14+ Academies at Leeds City College are recruiting for an Attendance and Engagement Administrator . We are seeking an organised, resilient and adaptable individual to undertake this role and explore this incredible opportunity to contribute to the continued success of the 14+ Academies.

The 14+ Academies is an alternative environment for young people in Years 10 and 11 who require a different education environment to what is offered in a mainstream school. Learners leave their previous education establishment and join the 14+ Academies full time.

What You Will Do

The main duties of this role will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Provide a friendly, professional and efficient first point of contact to learners, their parents/carers, as well staff and other professionals contacting or visiting the 14+ Academies.
  • To assist in the coordination of all operational and administration of the 14+ Academies.
  • To assist on the 14+ Academies attendance strategy and monitoring ensuring consistency and compliance across all 14+ Academies.
  • To assist on the 14+ Academies learner recruitment strategy and process which includes open events, applications, interviews and associated data.
About You

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly effective administration skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a larger team collaborating with colleagues to produce outstanding results.
  • Relevant experience, knowledge and skills to enable positive experiences and outcomes whilst working with pre-16 learners.
