Are you a flexible and proactive Cover Supervisor based in Leeds and available to start a new role immediately? Have you got previous experience working in secondary schools? Empowering Learning are working closely with a high-achieving secondary school in LS16 who are on the lookout for a dynamic and versatile Cover Supervisor to join the school temporarily

Role and responsibilities:

Flexible and versatile approach to work
To deliver pre-planned lessons to a high standard, ensuring students remain engaged in their lessons
Manage classroom behaviour and foster an inclusive learning environment for all students
Supporting students with their learning and addressing any questions or concerns
Collaborating with teaching staff to ensure continuity of learning.

Requirements:

Previous experience covering schools in secondary schools would be ideal, but not essential. Full training from the school is provided.
Educated to graduate level
Proactive and versatile individual
The ability to think outside-the-box, on-the-spot and use your initiative when needed
Strong communication and organisational skills
Strong behavioural management skills
