RoleSummary
We are looking for a Teaching Assistant for UKS2 to support children in preparing for the end of KS2 assessments. The ideal candidate will play an active role in ensuring that pupils receive provision of the highest quality and will work with individuals, small groups, and in the general classroom under the direction of the class teacher. Appropriate training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities- Support the class teacher with classroom tasks and student learning activities.
- Provide individual and small group assistance to pupils.
- Support pupils in the preparation and delivery of end‑of‑$ KS2 assessments.
- Assist with a broad range of tasks including lesson planning support, resource preparation, and administrative duties.
- Participate in all protection and safeguarding training and adhere to the school’s Child Protection Policy.
- Experience working in a primary school setting, preferably with children aged 7-11.
- Demonstrated ability to work safely and responsibly in a school environment.
- Experience with safeguarding and an awareness of child protection procedures.
- Commitment to supporting all pupils, including those with special educational needs.
- Valid DBS check or equivalent.
- Clear Enhanced DBS Disclosure must be obtained.
- Proof of right to work in the UK (citizenship, settled status, or visa).
- High school-aged or university‑educated.
All applicants will be asked to provide proof of identification and two referees. The school will carry out enhanced DBS checks, online background checks, and require completion of a self‑disclosure form before an interview is scheduled.
