RE teacher

Academics are currently searching for a passionate RE teacher to work in one of our diverse secondary schools in the Leeds area for an immediate start. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is willing to make an impact on the school's curriculum and guide students across Key Stages 3 and 4 to reach their full potential.

• Controlling the classroom and ensuring that the schools behaviour policy is being followed
• Teaching RE to a high standard to students across KS3 and KS4
• Engaging with other members of the team, sharing ideas and contributing towards the RE curriculum
• Create a positive classroom environment where students feel comfortable expressing their religious beliefs

• Right to work in the UK
• Qualified teaching status (QTS)
• A relevant degree related to RE
• DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one)

• Weekly pay to scale through PAYE
• Additional CPD and safeguarding courses free of charge
