We are currently seeking a lecturer to teach across a range of undergraduate levels as part of our BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. Due to our delivery model, flexibility to teach during weekdays, evenings and weekends is required. Your Accounting and Finance expertise can ignite a passion for learning.

• All aspects of planning, delivering, and assessing student work, ensuring learning outcomes are met
• Developing, updating, and improving course materials as appropriate
• Using a variety of learning and teaching methods/materials
• Actively engaging in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and other administrative duties
• Understanding and keeping up to date with latest developments in your field and student support practices
• Working towards a range of clearly defined objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction and progression

• Master’s degree in an Accounting and Finance field obtained in the UK or equivalent from PSRB's; full membership of a recognised accounting body (PhD desirable)
• Previous UK HE lecturing experience delivering core accounting modules such as Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Taxation and Audit.
• Extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter.
• Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback.
• Accurate reporting and ability to maintain thorough and organised student records.
• Ability to work under pressure, plan and prioritise own workload to meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills.
• Capability to work with diverse groups of people.

• Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification, or commitment to enrol on a teaching programme during probationary period and complete within three years, or Fellowship of HEA (or international equivalent).
• Full qualification from PSRB's such as ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW and/or IFA.
