The Role: We are recruiting lecturers to teach across a range of undergraduate levels as part of our BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. Our delivery model requires flexibility to teach during weekdays, evenings and weekends. Your expertise can ignite a passion for learning.

• Plan, deliver and assess student work, ensuring all learning outcomes are met.
• Develop, update and improve course materials as appropriate.
• Use a variety of learning and teaching methods/materials.
• Actively engage in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and other administrative duties.
• Stay up to date with latest developments in your field and student support practices.
• Work toward clear objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction and progression.

• Hold a Master’s degree in an accounting and finance field obtained in the UK or equivalent (full membership of PSRB’s; PhD desirable).
• Have previous UK HE lecturing experience delivering core accounting modules such as Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Taxation, Audit or similar subjects.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter.
• Have experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback.
• Be skilled at accurate reporting and maintaining thorough, organised student records.
• Work under pressure, planning and prioritising workload to meet tight deadlines.
• Have excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills.
• Be able to work with diverse groups of people.

• Hold a Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification (or commit to enrol on a teaching programme during the probationary period and complete within three years) or Fellowship of HEA (or an international equivalent).
• Be fully qualified from PSRB’s affiliates or active members such as ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW and/or IFA.
