We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated team player to join our dynamic and friendly practice as a salaried GP. Experience is preferred however we would be open to employing a newly qualified GP for the right candidate. Mentorship is provided by a named GP Partner to facilitate a smooth transition into the team.

Our Clinical team consists of 6 Partners, 7 salaried GPs, GP Trainee, 1 ANP, 5 Practice Nurses, a Frailty Practice Nurse and 3 HCAs.

We are a traditional general practice, committed to delivering high quality care to our patients with a strong ethos focussed on excellent team working to achieve a manageable workload.

The post holder will manage a caseload and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all patients.

We are looking for a salaried GP to work between 6 and 8 sessions (working days to be discussed).

The surgery is open from 8am - 6.30pm. We operate morning and afternoon surgeries with a mix of telephone and face to face appointments. You will also have a fair share of on-calls, home visits, admin work and holiday cover for colleagues. We currently have a doctor on call a.m. and p.m. with a second doctor on call to support.

GPs are expected to keep up to date with current evidence-based practice and CPD.

We enjoy socialising and coming together as a team to support local community services. In the past this has included hosting Mac Millan Coffee Mornings and collecting for those in need at Christmas.

We offer our patients a wide range of services to support their physical and mental health needs. Armley PCN employ a Frailty Team, Social Prescribers, Pharmacists, a Men's Mental Health Support worker, dietician and First Contact Physio.

We are a busy training practice who pride ourselves on patient care, developing our staff and supporting the community.

Responsibilities can be discussed in detail  summary the GP should work as an autonomous practitioner, responsible for the provision of medical services to the practice population, delivering an excellent standard of clinical care whilst complying with the GMS contract.

Furthermore the post-holder will adhere to GMC standards of Good Medical Practice, leading by example and maintaining a positive, collaborative working relationship with the multi-disciplinary team.
