We’re looking for a Senior Digital Modeller to join our world‑class automotive design team. In this role, you’ll combine expert 3D surfacing skills with next‑generation AI modelling methods to accelerate concept development and bring breakthrough designs to life.

As a Senior Digital Modeller, you’ll deliver high‑quality 3D surfaces that bridge creative design and engineering feasibility. You’ll collaborate closely with designers, studio engineers, and visualisation specialists to translate ideas into refined, production‑ready digital models. You will also be a key contributor in evolving our workflows by exploring and integrating AI tools such as text‑to‑3D modelling, NeRF, Gaussian Splatting, and neural generation techniques to enhance speed, iteration, and innovation.

• Build and refine world‑class Class‑A or high‑quality digital models using Autodesk Alias, or comparable tools.
• Interpret 2D sketches, clay models, and designer feedback to develop accurate, compelling 3D surfaces.
• Lead model development through concept, feasibility, and production phases.

• Use advanced AI‑driven 3D generation tools to create rapid concept models and early surface data.
• Integrate AI outputs into traditional workflows, ensuring quality, smooth topology, and design integrity.
• Evaluate new AI technologies, champion best practices, and help shape our digital modelling strategy.

• Partner with Creative Design, Engineering, HMI/UX, and Visualisation teams in digital and physical reviews.
• Contribute to VR/AR modelling sessions and immersive evaluations.
• Mentor junior digital modellers and support the evolution of studio standards.

• Strong proficiency in Alias, or equivalent automotive surfacing tools.
• Hands‑on experience using AI‑driven 3D creation tools (text‑to‑3D, NeRF, diffusion models, etc.).
• Solid understanding of automotive surface quality, curvature control, and Class‑A principles.
• Bonus: skills in Blender, Maya, Houdini, Unreal Engine, or VR/AR modelling platforms.

• Typically 5–10+ years in automotive digital modelling or equivalent roles.
• A portfolio demonstrating both traditional and AI‑supported 3D modelling work.
• OEM, Tier 1, or advanced design studio experience highly advantageous.

• Strong eye for form, proportion, and design quality.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
