10, an award-winning leader in offsite construction, is recruiting Design Managers to work at either our London, Leeds or Driffield offices.

This is a great opportunity to join our ambitious teams designing and delivering high-quality, sustainable buildings across multiple tenures. The role may suit an experienced Design Manager or someone from an engineering or architectural background who is currently running their own projects.

• Deliver high-quality designs that meet client expectations.
• Lead and oversee the design and technical processes, from proposals to construction.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, and company policies.
• Collaborate closely with internal and external teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Manage budgets and timelines, ensuring seamless project execution.
• Drive innovation, keeping up to date with the latest design technologies and processes.
• Lead coordination meetings with sub‑contractors during design development.

• Strong technical knowledge and relevant sector experience.
• Interest in, or knowledge of MMC would be a benefit.
• Project management and organisational skills.
• Experience managing sub‑consultant scopes and appointments.
• Experience of pre‑construction design activities.
• A proactive approach to problem‑solving and process improvement.
• Ability to integrate design seamlessly with overall project objectives.
• Strong commercial acumen.
• Able to develop and maintain excellent working relationships and build trust with all levels of the team internally and externally.
