Job Title: Hire Desk Controller

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, Day Shift

Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum

Join a leading national company specializing in Tool, Plant, and Powered Access hire. Our client, renowned for their exceptional service and extensive fleet, is seeking a dedicated Hire Desk Controller to join their dynamic team.

As a Hire Desk Controller, you will be the crucial link between our clients, the engineering team, and the transport department. Your role ensures that the right equipment is available and delivered to customer sites on time, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Handle hire enquiries via telephone, email, and online ordering system.
• Monitor and update machine availability statuses in the system.
• Work closely with engineering and transport teams to ensure timely preparation and delivery of equipment.
• Serve as a friendly and helpful point of contact for depot enquiries, ensuring effective communication with colleagues and customers.

• Prior experience in Plant, Powered Access, Tool, Lifting Equipment or Material Handling industries.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
