This role offers an exciting opportunity for a talented 3D Animator to contribute to a groundbreaking training course focused on addiction neuroscience. The project centers on producing approximately 15 high-quality 3D animations, each ranging from 1 to 3 minutes, designed to visually communicate complex neuroscience concepts for educational purposes. The ideal candidate will have a passion for translating scientific ideas into engaging visual content and a collaborative mindset to help realize a long‑term vision.
The position is hybrid, with some onsite work required in Cornwall, UK, and may involve occasional travel.
- Collaborate closely to understand the vision and educational objectives of the training course
- Design, develop, and animate 3D sequences that clearly illustrate neuroscience concepts related to addiction
- Integrate AI animation techniques to enhance visual storytelling and engagement
- Manage the end‑to‑end animation process, from storyboarding to final rendering
- Ensure all animations are scientifically accurate, visually compelling, and suitable for a professional training environment
- Adapt feedback and iterate on animations to achieve the desired educational impact
- Coordinate with other creative professionals as needed to ensure consistency and quality across all deliverables
- Maintain project timelines and deliver all animations within agreed deadlines
- Proven experience in 3D animation, with a strong portfolio demonstrating relevant work
- Proficiency in industry‑standard 3D animation software (e.g., Blender, Maya, Cinema 4D)
- Experience with AI animation tools and techniques is highly desirable
- Ability to translate complex scientific or medical concepts into accessible visual narratives
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Willingness to work on a hybrid basis, including onsite sessions in Cornwall, UK, and travel as required
- Self‑motivated, reliable, and able to manage multiple deliverables independently
- Prior experience in educational, medical, or scientific animation is a plus
