Project Quantity Surveyor

Position: Project Quantity Surveyor (Permanent)
Project Quantity Surveyor | Regional Contractor | Yorkshire Projects | £55k - £65k + Package

We’re working with a well-established main contractor to appoint an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to take full commercial responsibility for projects across Yorkshire

This is a role for a commercially astute QS who can confidently run their own scheme, managing all financial aspects from pre-construction through to final account

You’ll have the autonomy to lead the commercial function on your project, with the backing of a strong leadership team and a secure pipeline of regional work

What You’ll Be Doing;

Taking full commercial ownership of your assigned project

Managing subcontract procurement, negotiation, and appointment

Administering subcontract accounts, valuations, and variations

Preparing and submitting client valuations and final accounts

Managing cost reporting, forecasting, and CVRs

Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities

Ensuring contractual compliance and protecting commercial position

Working closely with site and project teams to drive financial performance

What You Will Need;

Proven experience operating as a Project QS, running your own schemes

Strong knowledge of JCT contracts

Commercially confident and capable of working independently

Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management (or equivalent)
