Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost control, budgeting, and financial planning related to construction projects.

Responsibilities
* Prepare and analyse cost estimates, budgets, and tenders for construction projects.
* Monitor project costs throughout the construction lifecycle to ensure adherence to budgets.
* Conduct detailed cost control assessments, identifying potential overruns and implementing corrective measures.
* Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and clients to negotiate costs and contractual terms.
* Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions related to projects.
* Assist in the preparation of contractual documentation and procurement strategies.
* Provide regular financial reports and forecasts to project managers and stakeholders.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and company policies regarding financial management.
Experience
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of cost control techniques and financial management practices.
* Familiarity with industry-standard software such as CostX, Bluebeam, or equivalent tools.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Effective communication skills for liaising with diverse teams and clients.
* A recognised qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics is preferred.
