. We have a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Contracts Manager to join our team within Vistry Works. As our Assistant Contracts Manager, you are responsible for assisting the Senior Contracts Manager(s) in overseeing operational activities, including the management of on-site erection Timber Frame systems and all associated tasks. You will be covering sites across numerous locations – across the North East and Yorkshire.

- Assist the Senior Contracts Manager(s) in overseeing operational activities related to timber frame systems and associated tasks on-site
- Cover sites across the North East and Yorkshire; support on-site coordination and delivery
- Maintain a culture of collaboration, safety, and high-quality delivery
- Contribute to the development of internal processes to improve operations and efficiencies
- Ensure enabling works are completed on time and that materials and labour dates are achieved; re-arrange schedules if issues arise
- Keep delays to a minimum by following strict processes that eradicate delays and manage their impact

- Experience on large volume, fast-paced developments within the new build housing sector
- History of working within or closely alongside production/construction departments
- Knowledge of Timber Frame/MMC construction
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good IT skills, proficient in MS Excel/PowerPoint/Word, Coins and Asta
- Health & Safety focussed with a deep understanding of H&S standards within the industry
- Experience in forming teams and developing a culture of high standards
- Understanding of Building Regulations and NHBC standards
- Commercially astute with awareness of budgets/constraints and achieving targets
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, ability to motivate and engage people at all levels
- Forward thinking with the ability to anticipate problems and think strategically
- Experience in producing plans, estimating budgets and timescales for contracts
- Ability to work well in a team or autonomously
- A driven self-starter with a desire to excel
- Full UK driving licence
