Hours:
40 hours per week Monday – Friday 9am to 5pm plus on‑call rota. Salary Range: £52,650.00 to £61,650.00 (depending on experience, qualifications, & earned bonuses).

- Lead the overall management and performance of the residential home in line with the Statement of Purpose and Ofsted/CIW regulations.
- Provide effective leadership, support and supervision to the team.
- Maintain high standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance with legal frameworks.
- Ensure children’s care plans meet their emotional, educational, social, and therapeutic needs.
- Conduct audits, internal quality checks, and prepare for Regulation 44 and Ofsted/CIW inspections.
- Manage rotas, staffing levels, handovers, and resource planning.
- Contribute to budget management and operational decision‑making.
- Promote positive outcomes through trauma‑informed, inclusive, and therapeutic approaches.
Essential
- 2+ years’ experience in a supervisory or management role within residential childcare.
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of child development, trauma, and therapeutic care approaches.
- In‑depth knowledge of safeguarding, care standards, and the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015, Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016.
- Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate staff teams.
- Confident use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to plan, delegate, and manage a dynamic workload.
- Flexibility, resilience, and the ability to perform under pressure.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and willingness to complete Level 5 Leadership & Management qualification.
Desirable
- Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management.
- Experience with therapeutic frameworks or therapeutic qualifications.
- Demonstrated financial acumen and budgeting experience.
- Positive regulatory inspection outcomes.

- Management/Supervisory – Children’s Residential Care Setting: 2 years (required).
- Driving Licence UK (required).

Full‑time. Pay: £52,650.00–£61,650.00 per year.
