Our client is a long-standing leader within the industrial and manufacturing sector, known for their strong supplier partnerships, commitment to quality, and continuous improvement culture. As they grow, they're now looking for a talented Senior Buyer to play a key role in shaping procurement strategy and driving value across the supply chain.

As Senior Buyer, you will take ownership of a key spend portfolio and be responsible for delivering both strategic and operational procurement excellence. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading supplier sourcing, assessment, and negotiation to secure competitive commercial agreements
• Developing and implementing procurement strategies to improve supply chain performance
• Ensuring adherence to procurement policies, procedures, and industry standards
• Managing supplier and stakeholder interactions to support operational objectives
• Tracking market activity to identify risks, opportunities, and cost reduction initiatives
• Analysing procurement data to inform decisions and drive continuous improvement
• Working with cross functional teams to forecast demand and plan future requirements
• Overseeing supplier performance and resolving issues to maintain continuity of supply

We're looking for a Senior Buyer who brings:

• Significant experience in procurement within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong negotiation skills and proven success managing supplier contracts
• A track record of delivering cost savings and process improvements
• Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities
• Confidence working with procurement systems and data
• At least 3 years' experience in a direct procurement role
• Solid understanding of procurement regulations and compliance

• Salary range of up to £55,000 DOE
