Hybrid work from office in Leeds (10% Travel)
Salary: £25,000 (£73,000 OTE) + Monthly Commission + Travel Expenses

Our client is a members-only finance service created for ambitious business owners who expect more from their funding partners. They provide bespoke finance solutions across asset finance and commercial loans delivered through a transparent subscription model with no hidden fees.

Their team combines deep experience in business and commercial funding with access to a trusted panel of over 100 lenders. They pride themselves on offering their clients a personal, efficient and truly independent service — from smaller asset facilities to multi-million-pound transactions — all built on integrity, expertise and long-term relationships.

The Role

They are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to join their growing team.

This is a key role responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities for our clients annual subscription service. You will proactively engage potential clients, manage your sales pipeline through Hub Spot CRM, and deliver an exceptional experience from first contact through to long-term account management.

You will also work closely with internal teams to ensure that every client receives the highest standard of service that our client is known for.

Key Responsibilities

* Identify and contact potential future clients to introduce our clients services.

* Set up and attend meetings (virtual and in-person) to present and sell their yearly subscription service.

* Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities using Hub Spot CRM.

* Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.

* Manage existing accounts to maximise retention and identify upsell opportunities.

* Develop long-term relationships with key decision-makers and business leaders.

* Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly new business targets.

* Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, competitor offerings, and client needs.

Key Requirements

* 3–5 years’ experience in B2B business development, ideally within a Plant Hire or Fleet Hire related industry.

* Proven track record in driving new business and achieving sales targets.

* Experience in account management and customer retention.

* Proficiency in CRM systems, preferably Hub Spot.

* Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

* Commercially astute, consultative, and confident in managing senior client relationships.

* Highly self-motivated, organised, and target-driven.
