Since the affiliate's inception in 2014 Ritter Sport UK & Ireland has enjoyed a decade of considerable success in the British and Irish markets. The UK and Irish team have driven the brand to new heights, registering Ritter Sport as the fastest-growing block chocolate brand in the market, delivering significantly more value and volume growth than the market, growing penetration to levels significantly above many legacy brands, culminating in achieving sales of c.20 iconic square bars of Ritter Sport every minute.
With the success on Ritter Sport widely reported, the team have also achieved notable growth with the latest brand within the business portfolio, Amicelli, with Amicelli now sitting high in the boxed brand rankings in just the 3rd year of trading, inclusive of nationwide Tesco distribution during Christmas 25.
With this exceptional growth comes added commercial complexity; new markets, channels, customers, ranges and SKU’s, all set against a backdrop of ever increasingly frequent, complex and diverse investments all running concurrent with unique regulatory restrictions via HFSS. Driven by this context and the requirement to accelerate growth in the short and mid-term, the UK team is now inviting applications from exceptional commercial controllers, net revenue managers, and revenue growth managers, to fulfil an entirely new role for the UK business, designed specifically to optimise commercial planning, execution and embed a cyclical culture of continuous commercial improvement into the team.
This hire is just one key enabler of a major strategic organisational mid-term plan to accelerate the current growth trajectory and drive both brands, Ritter Sport and Amicelli, to new heights in the UK and Ireland.

The OpportunityThis role sits at the heart of how Ritter Sport UK optimises commercial performance and customer outcomes, placed within the Finance and Commercial Controlling function reporting directly into the Head of Finance and Commercial Controlling.
You will drive tangible improvements in commercial results and customer outcomes via close collaboration with teammates principally within the Sales function, also within Finance and Marketing and occasionally Operations functions, driving the successful implementation of a defined strategy, constantly collaborating, iterating, and refining to achieve exceptional results.
The role is broadly defined as- Date Analysis:
Turning customer, market, and financial data into clear insights for commercial decisions. - Strategy Development:
Creating strategies for pricing, promotions, assortment, and trade investment. - Cross-Functional Leadership:
Collaborating with sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance to implement RGM initiatives. - Performance Monitoring:
Developing existing on and offline dashboards to track revenue, margin, and ROI. - Challenge and Capability Building:
Strengthening local teams' ability to independently develop and execute bespoke RGM strategies via effective co-pilot, challenge, and capability development.
- Exude expertise, possessing a robust multiyear record of exceptional RGM results, ideally delivered within ‘challenger’ environments on brands that have changed the landscape of their respective categories.
- Expert or high proficiency with the Blue Planner BI system from Up Clear, added value for candidates with high latent SAP and/or Cubus proficiency.
- Radiate a boundless energy of ‘the possible’, with an obvious passion for building brands that surprise and delight millions of new consumers.
- Are hands on, highly organised, have a bias to action and thrive driving outcomes with high levels of autonomy in partnership with teammates and working alone.
