British Garden Centres are currently going through a period of sustained growth, and we currently have a Maintenance & Development Admin Support role available to help take our business to the next level. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate.
Based at Louth Garden Centre this is a fast paced and busy environment where we continuously have new projects and development work on the go. You will be working in a small team who are involved in business development and maintenance plans from brand new buildings to refurbishments. To provide efficient administrative, compliance, and operational support to the Maintenance & Development function, ensuring smooth delivery of servicing, repairs, and project activities across the BGC portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate compliance servicing across the portfolio, maintaining accurate and audit-ready records.
- Provide administrative support for repairs and maintenance, tracking works to completion.
- Update workflows and support the Head of Projects & Development with project coordination.
- Assist with project costings, budget tracking, and preparation of presentations for senior management.
- Manage procurement of materials and raise purchase orders.
- Arrange contractor logistics, including hotel bookings where required.
- Organise training and maintain up-to-date certification/ticket records for contractors.
- Collate and process timesheets and payroll information for the Maintenance Team.
- Act as the first point of contact for administrative queries within the department.
- Excellent organisation and administrative skills.

- Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment.
- The ability to manage and work on numerous projects at one time.
- Problem-solving and creative-thinking skills
- Approachable with good communication skills
- Experience on project/development/maintenance admin.
- Experience of working with budgets
- Experience of working with contractors.
Salary dependent on experience and benefits include onsite car parking and staff discount for our Garden Centres and Restaurants as well as the Woodthorpe Leisure Park.
