Working as part of a busy payroll team to ensure weekly and monthly payrolls are processed accurately and in line with our legal obligations. Our Payroll Administrator will report directly to the Payroll Team Leader and is responsible for providing an efficient, accurate and timely administrative support service encompassing all areas of payroll across the business.

Note: This role is a fixed‑term contract for 16 months.

What you’ll do:
  • Work as part of the Payroll Team to ensure the monthly and weekly payrolls are processed accurately and on time.
  • Responsible for data input and checking to ensure payroll information is processed to strict monthly deadlines.
  • Ability to work flexibly as part of a team to ensure that Payroll queries are dealt with efficiently and effectively.
  • Work together with internal departments and external organisations as required.
What you’ll have:
  • Excellent knowledge of payroll processes and statutory obligations.
  • Proven experience of working within a payroll environment.
  • Knowledge and experience of working on SAP Success Factors Payroll Module.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills – with absolute attention to detail a must.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure to achieve deadlines.
  • Adaptable and flexible to work within dynamic and changeable business.
  • Extensive working knowledge/application of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Mail Merge, PowerPoint, database management skills)
  • Confident personality with a proactive and constructive approach.
  • Due to the nature of the role, professionalism, and a confidential approach in all aspect of work is essential at all times.
  • Mature, confident and responsive manner in order to deal with issues effectively and unaided.
  • Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and individually, developing and maintain good working relationships with personnel at all levels.
  • Initiative and ability to identify, solve or elevate problems accordingly.
