Eville and Jones is a major provider of Official Controls to the Food Standards Agency. We also provide an ever‑growing array of services to both the public and private sector including Export Certification portal inspection training and consultancy.
Due to continued growth we are seeking to recruit an Operational Support Administrator to join us on a full‑time basis. This role will be an office based role and will be within our Head Office in Leeds Thorpe Park LS15.
This role provides essential administrative and coordination support for E&Js Pet Travel and End‑of‑Life Services. The coordinator is responsible for managing bookings for E&J Pet Cares Animal Health Certificates (AHCs), Export Health Certificates (EHCs) and home euthanasia services. The role ensures all documentation and bookings are handled with accuracy and efficiency. The coordinator plays a key part in maintaining high service standards through effective communication, careful scheduling and proactive customer support.
E&J also have several new business streams in labs licensing vocational qualifications, feed and training that will form part of the admin role as required.
- Manage and coordinate AHC and EHC bookings across all relevant locations
- liaise with customers to collect required information and documentation for certificate processing.
- Schedule appointments and allocate bookings to each E&J area depending on location.
- Maintain accurate booking schedules managing multiple concurrent appointments with precision.
- Coordinate and schedule euthanasia appointments with vets considering geography, timing and customer needs.
- Adapt bookings promptly when circumstances change.
- Respond promptly and professionally to enquiries about services availability and requirements.
- Provide clear, accurate guidance on booking procedures and documentation.
- Manage a high volume of communications with accuracy, professionalism and attention to detail.
- Build strong relationships with customers by offering reassurance and tailored solutions.
- Coordinate with Regional Coordinators (RCs), Operations Managers (OMs) and veterinary teams to ensure smooth delivery of services.
- Monitor resource availability and flag capacity issues to management.
- Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly with official veterinary and travel documentation.
- Ability to handle sensitive and emotional situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Confident communicator with both internal teams and customers.
- Proactive with the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Strong multitasking ability capable of managing a high volume of concurrent tasks.
- Customer‑focused with a solution‑driven mindset.
Role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must have full right to work in the UK.
